Capcom Vancouver continues to develop new and exciting projects, and we’re growing in the process! With three unique projects in development, we’re recruiting smart, passionate and dedicated professionals to work with us on the next generation of video gaming.


We are seeking talented and dedicated Software Engineer’s that that are passionate about the work they do and love the challenges that comes with being a game developer in a fast paced, and ever changing development environment.


Now hiring for all Engineering positions, with emphasis on: 

  • Rendering
  • Gameplay
  • Gameplay Animation
  • Systems
  • Audio
  • Build


  • Design, write, debug, and refine features, infrastructure and tools.
  • Work closely with animators, designers and other engineers to ensure game features hit the quality bar for our AAA products.
  • Participate in estimating and planning.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality of work throughout the development process.
  • Research and development of new techniques to take the best out of current and new hardware.
  • Create and maintain technical software documentation.


  • 3 + years’ experience with C++ programming and debugging
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • You write structured and well documented code
  • You take active interest in enhancing current skills
  • You demonstrate dedication, adaptability & accountability in your own work
  • You operate within established procedures and best practices
  • You Collaborate effectively with others in same discipline across feature groups and cross-discipline as required 

Nice to have:

  • Mastery of one or more fundamental game development skills such as gameplay, online, optimization, rendering, physics, AI, or user interfaces
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience working with Xbox one and PS4
