OVERVIEW

Capcom Vancouver continues to develop new and exciting projects, and we’re growing in the process! With three unique projects in development, we’re recruiting smart, passionate and dedicated professionals to work with us on the next generation of video gaming.

 

We are currently on the lookout for a strong recruiter to join our team!  You will have experience in full-cycle recruiting from creating a strong pipeline to closing the deal. 

 

Reporting to the Recruiting Manager you understand what we are looking for in a software engineer, concept artist or level designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver full life cycle recruitment of assigned requisitions; source, assess, and recruit candidates for a variety of positions at all levels through to extending employment offers.
  • Work with hiring managers / client groups to assess and understand their specific hiring needs and goals and deploy recruiting strategies to meet the established goals.
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct interviews of the most qualified candidates, matching their qualifications with Capcom’s needs; recording and evaluating applicant experience, education, training and skills. Ensuring to deliver a world class recruitment experience for internal clients and candidates.
  • Lead post-interview debriefs with the interview team and record feedback.
  • Maintains applicant tracking system and various sourcing reports (updating candidate information, logging interviews, and the hiring team’s feedback, in ATS.)
  • Update and prepare weekly reports for distribution to multiple departments.
  • Foster positive working relationships with all teams across Capcom internal clients, including hiring managers, new hires and candidates. Communicates professionally, tactfully and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect.
  • Conducts employment referencing and backgrounds checks when needed.
  • Develop and revise interview questionnaires and job postings to satisfy the requirements and objectives of the position.
  • Educate hiring managers / client groups on recruitment processes and policies.
  • Supports special recruitment events (expos, job fairs) locally and beyond.
  • Assist in special projects as required.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives.
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-4 years recent, related experience in recruitment in either a Corporate or Agency environment
  • Online & offline sourcing experience utilizing job boards, and networking.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively research staffing solutions and generate new ideas.
  • Experience working on multiple projects at one time with little supervision.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite along with ATS software programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates at all levels and develop sophisticated closing strategies
