OVERVIEW

Capcom Vancouver continues to develop new and exciting projects, and we’re growing in the process! With three unique projects in development, we’re recruiting smart, passionate and dedicated professionals to work with us on the next generation of video gaming.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather estimates from team members to create detailed schedules and capacity plans for an area
  • Schedule, track, update and maintain schedules for outsourced production activities.
  • Create/maintain project procedures, facilitate meetings, produce status reports, maintain project budget and distribute project documentation and schedules
  • Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals.  Escalate relevant issues in a timely fashion
  • Proactively track and maintain the schedule, and resolve issues early before they become bigger problems
  • Create and update information to provide ‘real-time’ visibility of internal/external development efforts
  • Understand product goals in area(s) of oversight, and partner effectively with area designers and producers to deliver them
  • Directly manages career/performance of a team with junior to intermediate members of game area, provides annual reviews and compensation planning, participates in hiring process

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 -5 years of experience in Project Manager role
  • Proven Production or Coordination experience in games, software development or other relevant disciplines (art, video, special effects or movie production or post-production)
  • Requires someone who is a reliable, flexible, and who is a forward-thinking team-worker
  • Must have shipped a minimum of 1 AAA titles or accumulated similar production experience in related industries
